The movies are very good entertainment source. While we watching the movie, we come across some many scenes with real-time backgrounds like schools, some houses, streets, bridges, hotels, and buildings. When we see them in real life, we may get some excitement and feel fun to visit those places especially when they are not in our city or country.

If you feel like adding to the list of loactions… the diner where Josh looks through the want-ads and grosses out Billy by dangling a cherry on his tongue was at 78 8th Avenue on the corner of 14th Street, across from what is now an HSBC bank.

Well, the location you have marked for Yankee Stadium is the new stadium. The old one was where the baseball scene was filmed, south of E 161st Street (whereas the new stadium is north of E 161st Street).

The area where the old stadium was is now a park and fields complex.

This will always be one of my favorite movies. It brings back so many memories. I walked past Josh’s house and the school in Cliffside Park many times. I also lived across the street from the lot where the carnival was in Fort Lee. I have so many reasons to love this film.
