The prison scene in “Catch me if you can” was filmed at the old wing of the St-Francois jail just out side of Montreal. (Laval). It was also the same jail where “The Jackal” with Bruce Willis was filmed.
One minor correction : the prison is indeed on a street called montée St-François, but the name of the prison is St-Vincent-de-Paul. It was closed in 1989 and is kept undemolished for its historical value. It’s
often used as a movie location, as M. Anzini mentionned.
