Kiss Me Deadly (1955) Filming Locations

Location #1: Chevron Gas Station

Calabasas, California, United States

Note from the Webmaster: Exact location unknown. According to Google Maps, as of early 2014, there are two Chevron gas stations in Calabasas, California. It’s possible that one of them is old enough to be the one featured in the movie, however, none of them is recognizable today. Of course, the whole place could have been rebuilt from scratch since. Hard to tell.

Location #2: Leaving the hospital

4867 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, California, United States

Location #3: Nick’s General Repairing

At West Temple Street & North Dillon Street, Los Angeles, California, United States

Location #4: Mike stops at

North Rampart Boulevard (slightly above West Temple Street), Los Angeles, California, United States

Location #5: He turns around the corner / gives the thug a beating

My family owned the Castle on Bunker Hill, Location #7. I remember the filming in 1954 when I was 9 years old. I thought it was great, like having a movie star in the family. The Castle was a beautiful building. Sadly it and all of Bunker Hill are gone. The site of the Castle on S. Bunker Hill Avenue is no occupied by the Wells Fargo Center.
