The Brooks Home reminds me of Tidewater Victory Memorial Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA. TVMH was a TB hospital which opened in 1937. The hospital was not successful and closed around 1941. The building was then used by the Army as part of Camp Ashby during WWII. In 1950 the building became the home of the Willis furniture company which still occupies a portion of the building today. The exterior facade has changed much since the 1930’s, but there are pictures on the internet which show how the hospital once looked. I’ve have wondered if the Brooks Home was a building which was designed as a TB hospital.

Unbelievable still nobody found the Brools Memorial Home. After so many years and so many people online look for it and still. It’s such a big building, how is that possible?
