I love this movie. I wish I’d known some more locations when I visited Sydney. I went to the church where the wedding was, and I walked on Oxford St., but didn’t know the exact location of the video shop. Maybe next time… 🙂

Where is that apartment where Muriel lives when she’s married? I’m in Sydney first week in July and want to check out locations

Location #7: Rhonda’s house was at number 28 Seabeach Avenue, Mona Vale in Sydney.
My sister in-law bought it in 2003 and moved out in 2010. The new owners demolished it and built a new house on the site.

Are you sure about the address?
Google Street View goes far back to Dec. 2009 and I can’t see that house.

Actually Peak Avenue, Main Beach, Gold Coast (Around #42). You can clearly work out its location from Google Maps Street View, even though the house has since been demolished.

Can I please apologise to Dean? I believe he is perfectly correct, that Rhonda’s house was located at 28 Seabeach Avenue, Mona Vale. however they cheated the shot of the cab leaving the house. That took place from outside around 42 Peak Avenue at Main Beach on the Gold Coast. The departure from Porpoise Spit then included driving past The Pines Shopping Centre at Ellanora (years later seen as Bakersfield Mall in San Andreas, where Dwayne Johnson crashes his helicopter) and through Coolangatta.
