Really Neat showing of how time changes things. Came across your fine site as i was researching info on “Shadow” for a film series I will be showing at a local college, in NH. Actually, one of the reasons why I am showing this particular flick is that Teresa Wright was a graduate from Columbia High School (Maplewood, NJ) where, prior to retirement, I was the Head Librarian. That school has a VERY illustrious number of alumni throughout its history. As a longtime film history person, I personally knew both Blanche Sweet (the 1st Movie Star) and Lillian Gish. Upon learning that Ms. Wright was a 1938 graduate, I pushed to get her inducted into the CHS Hall of Fame. A statement I often say is, “Hollywood HS has a vast number of Oscars, due to the parents, whereas, NO other school has as many Academy Awards honoring its students than CHS.”
PS Going up in Jersey City, I know THE Pulaski Skyway from, just about, Day 1
