Hi , The guardroom was nowhere near your red indicator. I lived off Booth road at Aeroville (RAF married quarters) in 1957 when Hendon closed. Come out of Colindale tube station turn left past Pastuer close . This new housing estate was where the animal vivisection build was. This buildings high roof was seen in the film behind lined up dirty dozen outside guard room . Crossing over Booth road and heading for RAF Museum you will come across a roundabout with trees on . To the left was the guardroom . I visited the RAF Museum in 2010 its hard to identify anything . The officers mess which was close to guardroom is still there on the RHS on way to museum. regards Pete
Thanks!
