Wolf of Wallstreet’s location #20 is of course Portofino, Italy.
Actually it’s a very famous billionaires’ place.

location #16 is The Albert Memorial in Kensington Gardens, but it has definitely been edited as the Albert Hall should be in the background.

The Albert Hall would not be seen as there is a wide and busy road between the hall and the memorial. The picture has not been edited.

The scenes that say “studio backlot” are not filmed on film sets. They are filmed wherever’s convenient, including in film studios, and then someone comes along with either cgi or existing photos and footage of exotic locations to fill in the gaps.

The footage of the actors arriving in Italy was filmed in a Studio in New York. The backdrop was filmed in Portofino, Italy.

The footage in Kensington Gardens and at Joanna Lumley’s house is different, however. It’s frustrating, because they clearly used a real park (not the one it’s meant to be) and appear to be using a real house in the original footage, but I can’t find evidence of where the original footage – before vfx – was filmed, anywhere.

The Kensington Gardens shots are reasonably accurate, but they look odd because they weren’t filmed in Kensington Gardens, they were filmed somewhere else and then the statue and the suburbs in the background were taken from real photos of the actual Kensington gardens (or convincing cgi substitutes) and added in to the scene of the park afterwards.

Similarly, Lumley’s house was filmed in what looks like a real house (which looks like it might have been in a row of old houses in New York or Washington, DC, or a house in a less expensive part of London), but might be a film set, and then replaced with a backdrop filmed in a posh part of London afterwards (perhaps Kensington again, or Chelsea (the one in London, not the one in New York*, of Made In Chelsea fame), with the interior of the house and the steps kept.

*although the original house might have been in Chelsea, New York!
